Stealing Your Own Dreams

by SLY on August 17th, 2010

We steal our own dreams. We diminish them and chalk them up to imaginative thinking. We tell ourselves it can’t be attained. Is it that we don’t want to work towards that attainment? Maybe we are scared of actually living our dream. So we plant negative thoughts in our mind. We conjure up the worse. We attack the beauty inside. We extract the dream and balance the lose with the inception of bad ideas of what we can’t do. Why must we belittle ourselves? Why must we discredit ourselves? Why must we sell ourselves to doubt, fear and worry?

What if we owned our dreams?

I believe in my dreams. I believe that my vivid imagination brings light into my life. My mind conjures up beautiful things and if I seize opportunities and work towards attaining those goals my dreams become my reality and my reality become my dreams. The craziest idea that I can come up with is brilliant. Even if that idea is what leads me to a better idea. My thoughts are important.  My thoughts are useful. I am great. I am worth every ounce of amazing matter that God saw fit to create me with.

Do yourself a favor today. Turn every shadowy negative thought in your mind into a positive one full of light. Speak life into your world today.
