To Do or To Be
I’ve neglected my Morning Pages even though I know without any doubt that actively doing them produces my best work. I know its a choice and I’ve been choosing not to do them. Therefore I don’t beat myself up. When I want to change, I will change.
Today I changed.
Despite many topics and situations that have occurred in my life recently which would seem to be the focus of these morning pages, I found that the main thing running circles on my mind was a never ending To Do list. I don’t mean it in a negative sense. So long as I am alive there is something to do. But it seems some task are written on one list and other task are in my phone and many are on EverNote but still for some reason they are dancing circles in my head and its not allowing for a clear mind.
Thus, I created a to do list. I acknowledge that one isn’t supposed to go back and re-read MP’s until weeks later but since this list contains things I actually need to do, I am going back and looking at it.

Getting this list out my head has helped tremendously. I know there are things that I’m forgetting. I know some things are time sensitive and others are just things to do eventually. I need to go through all my other list and add the things I’m forgetting. Then I’ll need to prioritize this list. The bigger task will need to be broken down on my project management worksheets and well…this is a start. Now I can write what I want to write now that this is out my head.
