Celebrate ~ We Are Here Now
My August monthly symbolism word is CELEBRATE .
January’s monthly symbolism. –> Refine ~ A Process for Purification
February’s monthly symbolism. –> Movement ~ A Journey towards Center
March’s monthly symbolism. –> Imagine ~ Child Play for Adult Work
April’s monthly symbolism. –> Steady ~ Not Easily Shaken or Stirred
May’s monthly symbolism –> Lost ~ To Come to Be Without
June’s monthly symbolism –> Memory ~ Recalling the Impacts
July’s monthly symbolism –> Taste ~ Savoring the Moments
It should be noted that August is my birthday month and this is cause for celebration in and of itself. I was born for such a time as this. The world needs something that is inside of me. There’s something I am to share and give. Some great truth to be revealed. The world needs me here and now. Not one thousand years ago and not five hundred years from now. The world needs me RIGHT NOW. The same is to be said for you. The world needs you RIGHT NOW. You are here for a reason. Defining and articulating that reason so that it translates into your purpose and passion is for another day. Right now, we are simply CELEBRATING us. We are CELEBRATING life. We are CELEBRATING our SELVES.
Let’s not stop there though. Let’s CELEBRATE everything. Celebrate the ones you love. Celebrate your favorite moments. Celebrate your favorite colors, your accomplishments and all the little things. Celebrate the journey. Celebrate the start. Celebrate the completion.
*****.
A few [partial] definitions of CELEBRATE that I came across.
I suppose that means for me, I’ll stop and note it. I’ll stop and smell the roses. I’ll dance in the rain. I’ll laugh out loud and smile with pure joy. I’ll do a little dance and wiggle with delight. I’ll wear flowers in my hair and feathers in my hair. I’ll sprinkle glitter and just let loose..

SLY Articles of Note

I just came out of a chat where they talked about the economy and politics and the end of the world. I so needed a positivity injection. I knew where to get it!
I wish I knew why it’s so difficult for some of us (including me) to celebrate ourselves and life. Blaming the past or our environment doesn’t seem to really explain it. Joy is there for all of us. The love of the Universe is there for all of us. It seems such a simple thing to believe.
Perhaps the best we can do is take baby steps. If we commit to celebrating one small thing every day, perhaps we can get into the habit of celebrating life. Then we can open ourselves up to that joy and love that’s already there for us.
I’m going to try this. We can’t expect joy to come to us, right? We have to go to it, so to speak.
As always, you’re an inspiration. Hugs to you!
