Happy Birthday Matt Gore!
Yesterday Matt Gore, one of my dear friends celebrated his 30th birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!!!!
Matthew is one of the more creatively talented people that I know. I know a lot of creative people. Its kind of given in my field of work. What sets Matt a part is that he has a track record of showing how to make a living doing what he loves. Check out his resume here. Not every photographer and artist has that resume and that’s what I love about him. He’s practically applying his passions to his everyday life in a fulfilling and profitable way. He’s so freaking talented and gifted. His eye. His mind. His creations….. they all astound me. I’m so proud of him. Last year I went off on all the tangents of why I love him in his birthday post. That’s listed down below and you should click all the links. This year I want to emphasize a different thing.
This year I’ve appreciated all the work Matt has put into One Wheaton. This year I appreciate how he’s strategic with his creative endeavors. This year I appreciate his joy and exuberance for life. I appreciate how he loves his friends and celebrates them and believes in quality time and fine dining and great wines. I appreciate his spirit. I appreciate his generosity and his openness.
You are loved Matt Gore. I hope you know that everyday. I hope in every moment you know that you inspire people, especially me. You are light on a gloomy day. You are sunshine and magic and strength. You are comfort and joy and full of all things awesome. It continues to be an honor to know and love you. Thank you for letting my into your life. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms into Arena Theater and Wheaton College back in 2001. Thank you for all of our adventures and conversations and for every single dance. Thank you for our dances to Robin Thick and Morcheeba before they were popular in that black box theater late at night.
Thank you for rocking out with me to Nikka Costa on those nights too. Thank you for being the best date at G|X. Thank you for every twirl and lift.
Thank you for being so cultured and dignified and debonair. Thank you for our friendship Matt. It means so much to me. I think you are incredible. You are an absolute gift to the world. I celebrate you. I love you. I paint the world with your name and your wonderful soul!
Happy Birthday Friend.
P.S. I hope that at some point during your birthday celebrations, you dropped it like it was hot…a couple times. I think its a requirement for turning 30. Actually its a requirement for life.
