the MET ~ Shapes, Patterns and Islam
One of my summer goals has been to explore unfamiliar places in New York City. For instance, prior to two weeks ago, I had never been to the MET. I decided to get a bit of culture, treat myself to an artist date and to play with some photography exercises. My goal was to capture what speaks to me. I quickly learned I love earth tone colors, I love patterns & symbols and I will always be drawn to Islamic art as well.
