Pole Dancing Bloggers

When I first started taking pole dance classes a few years ago, I searched online for bloggers who were sharing their personal pole experiences. At the time, I could only find a handful of blogs. I was grateful for it and soon after, I even began my own pole dancing blog called The North Pole. Within the last two years, just as the pole industry has grown ten fold, so has the group of individuals and companies with Pole specific blogs.

Recently a group was formed on facebook to help develop the pole dancing blogger community. It’s a place for us to virtually meet each other, swap ideas and share information and news. As we began chatting on ways to collaborate, we collectively decided to create a Blog Hop where we take a topic, theme, event and write a post with our own spin. I’m excited about this challenge and I look forward to reading all the various blog posts as the various blog hops occur.

If you have a pole dancing blog and would like to join in on our October Blog Hop, please follow the link below. In the title field be sure to put the name of your blog.

We are asking that everyone completes their blog post by October 15th, 2012.

This month’s theme is HALLOWEEN. You can write however you’d like about HALLOWEEN so long as it connects to the pole industry. Here are some suggestions.

  • A post on a Halloween themed dance.
  • A DIY tutorial on a Halloween costume for pole.
  • A post on the local Pole Dancing Halloween party in your community.
  • A post on how the ritual of All Saints Day ties into the ritual of movement. (I don’t know if that’s true.)
  • A post with a video of you dancing to your favorite Halloween song.

You can write on whatever you want. Just connect Halloween and Pole in this specific Blog Hop Post.

On October 16th, we’ll all convene to read each other’s posts. Make sure to check everyone out. Leave comments. Also if you have suggestions for future topics and themes that you’d collectively like to see the Pole Dance Bloggers write about, be sure to let us know!
