There’s this thing that happens in the pole dance industry.
That’s at least if your “home” studio involves freestyle dance classes where you get to pick your own music each week. This thing happens where you want to have the most awesome pole dance song ever! And it would suck if the woman dancing right before you, during that particular week danced to YOUR song. Then all of a sudden, EVERYONE and their mama and best friend wants to dance to that song too! And its your FUCKING SONG! The artist wrote it for you….sort of. Well, not really. Still, you feel like its YOUR SONG.
Maybe your dance studio doesn’t let you pick your own music. Maybe you are preparing for a competition or showcase and you’re trying to find a song that hasn’t been performed to by 100 other dancers.
This thing happens where you just want your own signature awesome songs that people are not going to copy and dance to for their latest youtube clip. But….hoarding is not nice, so I’m opening my secret playlist vault and sharing five songs that I love, that I will pole dance to and that should you dance to as well. Also, you’re welcome for this inspirational list because to date, I haven’t seen not one pole dance, at least online, to any of these songs.
Dear pole world, enjoy my gift….not that I even wrote these songs…still, they are mine.
Here are my 5 Songs For Sensual & Pole Dance That I Do No Want to Share. They are all slow, emotional, introspective type of songs. If I’m not dancing as Isis or Sly, I like to dance as Sheena. (See below for those references) When I dance as Sheena, its my vulnerable, open and tender truth. These songs bring that out. I tend to like “emotional” songs like that. Also, check out my “Top 5 Emotional Pole Dance Videos.”

4. Silence by Lucia
Discovered: While surfing the internet for music for a pole performance.
5. The Ballad of by Kevin O’Donnell
