Spicy Raw Tomato Soup

Friday, April 15th, 2011

I’m working on incorporating raw food dishes into my daily meals. Here’s on recipe I LOVED! The raw soups are definitely working for me. Now I have two. The Raw Pea Soup and now this Tomato one. What soup should I make next?

My Recipe was inspired by Natasha of Raw Radient Health. I love her youtube channel!!!!

Raw Vegan Pasta & Alfredo Sauce

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

I made pasta the other day to get rid of some of the things in my fridge and pantry but I happened upon this RAW VEGAN pasta and alfredo sauce. So simple to make. I’m going to try it next week! (By the way, I subscribe to this youtube channel and LOVE their videos)

In the description box of the video it says…..

❤ PASTA ALFREDO ❤

— Always SCRUB & WASH
PRODUCE before juicing OR eating!
I use VEGGIE WASH!
http://VEGGIE-WASH.life-regenerator.com

— Always SOAK seeds & nuts
OVERNIGHT in WATER & then
strain them before eating them
or using them in a recipe!

FOR THE ALFREDO SAUCE:
— 1½ cups Raw Cashews
TRULY raw, like these http://CASHEWS.life-regenerator.com
ESSENTIAL LIVING FOODS isn’t currently carrying cashews, but their website is http://ESSENTIAL.life-regenerator.com
— ¼ cup Nutritional Yeast
http://YEAST.life-regenerator.com
— ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
— ⅛ teaspoon Garlic Powder
— ½ teaspoon Sea Salt
— a few leaves/stems of Fresh Basil
— a couple leaves/stems of Fresh Oregano
— 2 teaspoons Onion Powder (or use fresh onions if you can)
— ½-1 cup Spring Water
— LOVE!

FOR THE PASTA NOODLES:
— Several Zucchinis (aka Courgettes)

FOR THE GARNISH:
— Tomatoes, chopped
— Fresh Basil, chopped

— 1) To make the alfredo sauce, toss the raw cashews, nutritional yeast, black pepper, garlic powder, sea salt, fresh basil, fresh oregano, and onion powder into your Vita-mix blender http://BLEND.life-regenerator.com , or whatever blender is the best blender for you. Add just enough spring water to make a creamy sauce, but not so much as to make it too thin, and blend until that creamy sauce consistency is reached.

— 2) To make the pasta noodles out of the zucchinis / courgettes, use either a vegetable peeler http://PEELER.life-regenerator.com or a Spiral Vegetable Slicer http://VEGGIE-SLICER.life-regenerator…

— 3) Arrange your “pasta noodles” in serving bowls and pour the alfredo sauce over the noodles.

— 4) For the garnish, toss some chopped tomatoes and fresh basil over the top of each dish, serve, and enjoy!
